Itinerary

On arrival into Dublin Airport, you will be met by your driver in the Arrivals Terminal.

Private tour of Dublin

You will start the day with a city tour of Ireland’s capital city, Dublin given by your Bord Failte Approved Driver Guide. Originally founded by Vikings over 1,000 years ago, you will discover the city’s charms, see the elegant Georgian townhouses with brightly-painted doors, the River Liffey, O’Connell Street, St Patrick’s Cathedral, the Guinness Storehouse and much more.

Guinness Storehouse
Today you will visit the Guinness Storehouse and learn how the famous ‘blackstuff’ is made. Afterwards enjoy a complimentary pint of Guinness in the Gravity Bar which enjoys panoramic views of the City. Sláinte!

Book of Kells
Today you will visit Trinity College, a distinguished college attended by legendary writers such as Jonathan Swift, William Congreve and Oscar Wilde to name but a few. Here you will see the famous ‘Book of Kells.’ It is an illuminated manuscript Gospel book in Latin, containing the four Gospels of the New Testament together. It was completed in 800 AD and is said to be the oldest (and most beautiful) book in the world!

**Optional Extra**Dublin’s Traditional Musical Pub Crawl
Why not experience the vibrancy of Dublin’s traditional drink and Irish music scene on a musical pub crawl this evening through Temple Bar – Dublin’s cultural quarter! Accompany some musicians on a fun and educational tour through the hip yet historic district, where you’ll visit classic pubs and bars, witness local drinking culture, and encounter Irish storytelling and music at its best.

Accommodation: 4* Dublin City Hotel – 1 night

This morning, meet your private driver in the hotel reception at 9am. You will depart Dublin and start your tour of the rest of Ireland.

Rock of Cashel
On your way down to Cork, you will stop off in the town of Cashel in County Tipperary. Visit the impressive Rock of Cashel which looms up in front of you as you approach the town. This cathedral-fortress dates to the time of St. Patrick when he used the shamrock as the symbol of the Holy Trinity as he converted the King of Munster to Christianity.

Blarney Castle
You will head to the town of Blarney. Visit Blarney Castle, it is a 15th century McCarthy Castle. You will enjoy a stroll through the estate to the castle and then climb to the top and kiss the Blarney Stone. It is said that you will obtain the gift of eloquent speech by kissing the stone, otherwise known as ‘The Gift of the Gab!’ A visit to the Blarney Woollen Mills is also highly recommended, with its fantastic variety of Irish crafts available for sale and its wonderful restaurant.

Kinsale
Drive on to the quaint harbor town of Kinsale, known as the ‘Gourmet Capital of Ireland.’ Marvel at the colored houses dotted on the landscape and explore the boutiques, shops, restaurants and pubs. You will discover Kinsale’s historic buildings, narrow streets, shops and galleries and activities on sea and land. It owes its unique character to the fact that it was a garrison town and significant port for over 300 years. Make your way to your Kinsale Hotel for the evening.

Accommodation: 4* Kinsale Hotel – 1 night

Today you will explore Cork City.

Cork City
Tour to Cork City, a city more than 800 years old, situated on the River Lee. It is the second largest city of the Irish Republic, lively and prosperous with a keen sense of its own cultural identity.

English Market
Situated in the heart of Cork City, the English Market is a roofed food market and has been trading since 1788. A mix of traditional Cork fare and exciting new foods from afar, combined with long standing family-run stalls contribute to the unique appeal and atmosphere of this market. Long recognised by locals as a place to meet, eat and shop, the English Market offers tourists and locals alike a tantalising range of Irish food.

Continue to Killarney town where you will check into your hotel and enjoy the rest of your evening.

Accommodation: 4* Killarney Hotel – 4 nights

Today you will take on the stunning Ring of Kerry drive. It is the most renowned Day Tour in Ireland. Throughout its 110 miles, you will travel around the MacGillicuddy Reeks and the Iveragh Peninsula, along the breath-taking Atlantic Coast, Dingle Bay and Kenmare Bay, returning to Killarney through the famed Molls Gap, Ladies View and Killarney National Park. En-route are the lovely coastal villages of Glenbeigh, Waterville and Sneem and the thriving market towns of Killorglin and Caherciveen. The Ring embraces many points of historic and archaeological interest.

Muckross House

This 19th century mansion depicts what life was like in Ireland during this period. You might enjoy a visit to the stunning Torc Waterfall which is well worth a look. If you enjoy walking, there are walking trails mapped out beside the Waterfall which are most enjoyable. **Optional Extra** Celtic Steps the Show
This evening you might like to enjoy Ireland's top traditional Irish Music, Song & Irish Dance Show which features seventeen World Irish Dancing Championship titles between the current cast of dancers and All-Ireland Champion singers and musicians. The show aims to provide a magical evening, taking its guests on a journey through the nation’s colorful past and history to present day Ireland through the language of music, song and of course, dance.

Today tour the spectacular Dingle Peninsula, one of Ireland’s most picturesque spots. Visit the town of Dingle, then drive around Slea Head and admire its rugged beauty.

Visit the Blasket Island Center which honors the unique community who lived on the remote Blasket Islands until their evacuation in 1953. Stop and visit the Gallorus Oratory and other Early Christian sites. The Gallarus Oratory is a 7th century stone chapel used by pilgrims going to Mount Brandon.

Return to Killarney for the night.

Today you will depart Killarney and your first stop is Adare, the prettiest village in Ireland.

Adare Village
Adare Village known as ‘the prettiest village’ in Ireland, where traditional thatched cottages and ancient stone walls preserve the spirit of an unspoiled Ireland, the very definition of postcard perfection. Take an afternoon to explore the mysterious ruins and churches which surround the village and whisper of its rich history. With antiques shops, galleries, restaurants and cafes, sitting side by side, Adare is a picturesque oasis. Make sure to make time for a wander around this magical village, pause in a cosy pub for a well-earned pint, taste the food and see why ‘a hundred-thousand welcomes’ is actually an understatement.

Bunratty Folk Park

Roam through the park and see the rural farmhouses, village shops and streets which have been recreated and furnished to a time that once was.
