On arrival into Dublin Airport, you will be met by your driver in the Arrivals Terminal. 


Hop On Hop Off Sightseeing Bus Tour 

Originally founded by Vikings over 1,000 years ago, you will discover the city’s charms, see the elegant Georgian townhouses with brightly-painted doors, the River Liffey, O’Connell Street, St Patrick’s Cathedral, the Guinness Storehouse and much more. Explore these sights of Dublin City and enjoy commentary using the Dublin City Hop on Hop off Bus service. Relax on a 90 minute city tour and then use the bus to transfer you between attractions. 


Guinness Storehouse 

Today you will visit the Guinness Storehouse and learn how the famous ‘blackstuff is made. Afterwards enjoy a complimentary pint of Guinness in the Gravity Bar which enjoys panoramic views of the City. Sláinte! 


Book of Kells   

Today you will visit Trinity College, a distinguished college attended by legendary writers such as Jonathan Swift, William Congreve and Oscar Wilde to name but a few. Here you will see the famous ‘Book of Kells.’ It is an illuminated manuscript Gospel book in Latin, containing the four Gospels of the New Testament together. It was completed in 800 AD and is said to be the oldest (and most beautiful) book in the world!

Why not experience the vibrancy of Dublin’s traditional drink and Irish music scene on a musical pub crawl this evening through Temple Bar – Dublin’s cultural quarter! Accompany some musicians on a fun and educational tour through the hip yet historic district, where you’ll visit classic pubs and bars, witness local drinking culture, and encounter Irish storytelling and music at its best.

This morning, collect your car rental and depart Dublin to start your tour of Ireland. 


Rock of Cashel 

On your way to County Cork, you will stop off in the town of Cashel in County Tipperary. Visit the impressive Rock of Cashel which looms up in front of you as you approach the town. This cathedral-fortress dates to the time of St. Patrick when he used the shamrock as the symbol of the Holy Trinity as he converted the King of Munster to Christianity.  


Blarney Castle 

You will travel to the town of Blarney. Visit Blarney Castle, a 15th century McCarthy Castle. You will enjoy a stroll through the estate to the castle and then climb to the top and kiss the Blarney Stone. It is said that you will obtain the gift of eloquent speech by kissing the stone, otherwise known as ‘The Gift of the Gab!’ A visit to the Blarney Woollen Mills is also highly recommended, with its fantastic variety of Irish crafts available for sale and its wonderful restaurant.  



Cork City is a city that is more than 800 years old and situated on the River Lee. It is the second largest city of the Irish Republic, lively and prosperous with a keen sense of its own cultural identity. Explore this city at your leisure.

Today you will depart Cork and travel to Killarney. Make your way to Killarney National Park and take in the stunning scenery of mountains, lakes and woodlands. 


Muckross House 

Visit the historic Muckross House and Gardens. This 19th century mansion depicts what life was like in Ireland during this period. You might enjoy a visit to the magical and picturesque Torc Waterfall which is well worth a visit. If you enjoy walking, there are walking trails mapped out beside the Waterfall which are most enjoyable. Also you have options such as taking a lake cruise, a jaunting car (horse drawn carriage) ride through the national park or visiting Ross Castle.  


The balance of the day will be at your leisure in Killarney where you will have the opportunity to enjoy the abundance of restaurants and pubs this evening.

Today you will take on the stunning Ring of Kerry drive. It is the most renowned Day Tour in Ireland. Throughout its 110 miles, you will travel around the MacGillicuddy Reeks and the Iveragh Peninsula, along the breath-taking Atlantic Coast, Dingle Bay and Kenmare Bay, returning to Killarney through the famed Molls Gap, Ladies View and Killarney National Park. Enroute are the lovely coastal villages of Glenbeigh, Waterville and Sneem and the thriving market towns of Killorglin and Caherciveen. The Ring embraces many points of historic and archaeological interest.

Today tour the spectacular Dingle Peninsula, one of Ireland’s most picturesque spots. Visit the town of Dingle, then drive around Slea Head and admire its rugged beauty.  


Visit the Blasket Island Center which honours the unique community who lived on the remote Blasket Islands until their evacuation in 1953. Stop and visit the Gallarus Oratory which some say resembles and upturned boat and other Early Christian sites. The Gallarus Oratory is a 7th century stone chapel used by pilgrims going to Mount Brandon.  


Return to Killarney to enjoy the rest of your evening.

Today you will depart Killarney for County Clare. Consider taking the Tarbert Ferry which takes you from County Kerry to County Clare.  


Cliffs of Moher 

The Cliffs of Moher are one of Ireland’s top visitor attractions and are a designated UNESCO Geo Park. The Cliffs are 695 ft high at the highest point and range for 5 miles over the Atlantic Ocean on the western seaboard of County Clare.  

Tour on through the Burren – an area of limestone hills which supports a wide range of flora. There are information points along the way, explaining the formation of the distinctive “Karst Landscape” which you are free to stop at.  

Return to Shannon area for your overnight stay.
