Itinerary

Welcome to Scotland! On arrival into Edinburgh Airport, you will be met by your transfer driver in the Arrivals Terminal and transferred to your Edinburgh hotel, where you can drop off your luggage and start exploring.

Edinburgh City

Edinburgh is Scotland’s compact, hilly Capital. It has a medieval Old Town and elegant Georgian New Town with gardens and neoclassical buildings. The Royal Mile is made up of four different streets that form the city’s main thorough-fare of the old town, with its famous historical sites and buildings. It is also full of pubs, eateries, shops and bagpipe players. It’s just one of those things you have to do when you’re in Edinburgh.

Optional Extra – Scotch Whisky Experience

You might like to take a guided tour, plus a nosing and tasting of some Scotch Whisky in The World’s Largest Collection of Scotch Whisky. You will compare and contrast four regional single malts whilst relaxing in the beautiful McIntyre Gallery. Assisted by experienced guides, and provided with tasting notes, you’ll be able to sip like a true connoisseur, and compare the regions to find your perfect dram.

Kingsbarns Golf Links

Kingsbarns Golf Links passion is to host you for a memorable round of traditional Scottish golf. Kingsbarns is situated 7 miles from St. Andrews along 1.8 miles of picturesque North Sea coastline, where each hole embraces the sea.

St Andrews – Jubilee Course

Today you will make your way to the Jubilee Course at St Andrews Golf Resort – The third championship course at the Home of Golf, the Jubilee is considered by many to be the most challenging course on the famous Links. Built in 1897, it was originally intended for use by ladies and beginners; however, after seeing its prime golfing location between the New Course and the sea, the Jubilee was converted to a championship layout in 1988.

The famous St. Andrew’s Old Course is notoriously hard to get a tee-time for but they have a daily ballot that we would be more than happy to enter you in while you are in Scotland and you never know, you might get lucky! (We have had a good strike rate in the past!)

Golf has been played at the Links since the 16th century and it was Carnoustie natives who went on to establish the Professional Golfer’s Associations of America and Australia.
